“Passport to Pinterest” Tag

Social media has been blessed with a fun platform for images, bookmarks, and inspiration for planning everything from your cat’s sweaters to a dream log cabin. I’m talking about Pinterest! I’ve been tagged to share random images from my favorite Pinterest boards in the “Passport to Pinterest” tag by Rayleigh Gray over at Accelerate the Jesus Movement blog. The tag originally appears on the Livy Lynn blog. (Thanks for the tag, Rayleigh!)

  4. Click “Generate.”
  5. Find that number pin on your board.
  6. Share the image of that Pin in your new Blog Post, and a little blurb about why it’s important to you!
  7. Continue the process with ALL or as many of your boards as you like!

It’s another Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by  The Broke and the Bookish

One awesome part of the reading experience in modern times, I think, is connecting with authors via social media. The Pinterest platform allows authors to share their story’s “world” with locations, character ideas, behind-the-scenes news, quotes, etc. I’ve chosen to share 10 of my favorite pinning-authors and my favorite of their book boards! I so appreciate these authors for taking the time to compile and share their inspirations and unique worlds this way.

Fun Find Friday: Books & Cupcakes’ “Book Photo Challenge”

It’s been a while since I’ve shared my “Fun Find Friday” meme. This week, the new find is one I am super ecstatic about. It combines two of my favorite things: books and photography!

While playing around on Instagram, I discovered Books & Cupcakes‘ “Book Photo Challenge”. Jessica over at Books & Cupcakes on Tumblr posts a Book Photo Challenge list every month, with an assignment for each day. How fun is that? So, every day, you post on Instagram, Tumblr, or other social media and use the hashtags #bookphotochallenge and #booksandcupcakes.

A few days before the next month, she posts the new challenge. I think I’m a little late to participate in May’s challenge, but I’m definitely planning to do June’s. I’ll be posting mine on my Instagram account. If you’d like to join me, please let me know in the comments section! Or, tag my Instagram username @courtneyec90.
