December Photo Challenge, Day 29. This is a view of my skyline…or rather what was falling from the sky. It was gloomy and overcast this day, but the snow was beautiful. This photo was taken with the HDR painting photo effect on my Sony A65.
December Photo Challenge, Day 30. This little cardinal was hungry in the snow. He found some bird seed.
December Photo Challenge, Day 31. For my final photo, I chose this macro of raindrops on my windshield. This photo was taken with my new lens–I’m really excited to use it for macro shots and distance shots (it’s a Quantaray 70-300mm Macro lens).
I would like to say Happy New Year to all my readers and followers! I hope that you have enjoyed seeing my adventures this December through my photo challenge posts. I think I’m going to take a break from photo challenges this January, but I have plans for upcoming photography and craft posts in the next few weeks.
December Photo Challenge, Day 26. I’m grateful that I was able to spend Christmas with my family. I’m also grateful for my new phone – a Samsung Galaxy S3.
December Photo Challenge, Day 23. This is my blue scarf and brooch I wore to my church’s Christmas brunch/worship service.
December Photo Challenge, Day 20. This is my tree topper, a shimmery snowflake ribbon, taken with the high contrast mono picture effect.
December Photo Challenge, Day 19. For today’s theme, I am using a photo of my latest nail art – a candy cane. I applied the dots of red and white with the end of a bobby pin.
December Photo Challenge, Day 18. I crocheted this candy-cane striped stocking a couple years ago.
December Photo Challenge days 16 and 17.
For day 16, I chose this B&W photo of a present with a lovely silvery bow.
For 17, I took this photo of a spruce tree in my yard at dusk. I love the slight bokeh effect of the lights combined with the colorful horizon.
December Photo Challenge, day 15. One of my favorite Chritmas songs is “The Little Drummer Boy”. I love the picture it paints of how all this little boy had to offer was his talent of playing the drum, but that was enough. He played his best for Christ, and little baby Jesus smiled at him.
My favorite version of this song is by MercyMe. You can listen to it on YouTube here.
I would love to hear about your favorite Christmas songs! Do you have a favorite?
December Photo Challenge, Day 14. “Family” 🙂 Me and my awesome niece and nephew, coloring some Christmas pictures.
