Fun Find Friday: Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

Last week, in honor of fall in general, I tried a new recipe. Let me tell you, this homemade pumpkin spice latte recipe has NOTHING on that popular chain we all know and love. It has a lovely, fresh flavor because of the real pumpkin puree you add.

I used this recipe from Bakergirl I found via Pinterest. The recipe is for a pumpkin spice syrup you combine with warmed milk and coffee for lattes. I bet the syrup would be great used in other ways, too! My advice: make some REAL whipped cream to top it.

This is one of my new favorite fall recipes. Do you have any favorite fall recipes? I’d love to hear your fall favorites in the comments! Thanks for visiting!

Iced Chai Tea

Good afternoon, everyone!

I absolutely love tea ~ iced tea, hot tea, Chinese teas, black teas, herbal teas, and the list goes on…..

I want to share my recipe for Iced Chai Tea. I used The Stash Tea Company‘s chai tea, but you could use any brand.

Iced Chai Tea Recipe

Iced Chai Tea:

2 chai tea bags (single-serve size)

7 cups of water

3/4 cup of sugar

cream to taste

In a small pot, place 2 tea bags and about 2 cups of the water. Heat to a rolling boil for approximately 2 minutes.

Dissolve remaining water and sugar in a small pitcher. Add brewed tea, discarding the bags.

Pour over ice and add cream to taste (I like about a tablespoon per glass). Enjoy!
