It’s another Top Ten Tuesday, now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl!
Today’s official topic: Character Freebie
With a freebie topic comes all sorts of fun! I have been keeping part of this list for a while now, since I noticed some favorite characters who happen to share names. Some of these are more “classic” names like Jane, others more innovative like the name Willow, but these characters ALL stand out in my mind for their names and personalities on the page. Plus, some of the names indicate a little of the spunk, fun, or determination the heroes and heroines have in finding their purposes or happy endings.
While we’re on the subject of names, here are some of the most unique of my favorites: Eisley, Tamsen, Aven, Sloane, Red Shirt, Jasper, and Griffin.

I love your take on the prompt this week–so creative!
Oh I like this! I rarely think about characters having the same names, but you did an awesome job remembering them all!
What a fun topic! I’m a big fan of names, both common and unusual.
YAY!!! Thank you, Courtney!!!
I like your topic! Cool match ups!!
Fun take on the topic. I haven’t read any of these books, so I can’t comment on them and, actually, I can’t think of any matching names I’ve noticed lately except that I just finished a book set in England with a minor, working-class character named Marion and now I’m reading another one set in England with a minor, working-class character named Marion (same spelling and everything). Weird how that happens sometimes.
Happy TTT!
Susan

I haven’t read any of these yet, but I would like to read Falling For You. I like your unique take on this week’s topic!
I love the name Devin and maybe because I married one. 😉
Thank you, Courtney!
