Top Ten Books On My Fall TBR

The turning of the season makes one reflect on the one just passing… in this case, I’m talking about my summer TBR. It looks like I made it through 7 out of my 10 books from this summer’s. Here’s hoping that I’ll make it through the leftover 3, too, before the year is over! FYI, I’m adding a few that release late in 2014, so this is going to be my fall/winter TBR posting.
Today’s post is a little last minute, so no book cover graphics this week. Better just a list than none at all, right? ๐Ÿ™‚

Carried over from my summer TBR: Made to Last, Barefoot Summer, and A Broken Kind of Beautiful

The Bound Heart by Dawn Crandall (After a great debut by Dawn, I’m excited to read more about these characters)

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows

Evergreen: A Christiansen Winter Novella by Susan May Warren

A Lady at Willowgrove Hall by Sarah E. Ladd (I’ve been waiting on this one since reading the first 2 in January!)

How A Star Falls by Amber Stokes (ya’ll have you seen the cover??)

Surprised by Love by Julie Lessman

The Bridge by Karen Kingsbury (I can’t believe I haven’t read this one yet… they’re even making a Hallmark movie out of it!)

To Everything a Season by Lauraine Snelling (It’s been a looong time since I’ve read a book of Lauraine’s)

Burning Sky by Lori Benton

The Wishing Season by Denise Hunter

What’s on your fall TBR???

  1. Looks like a lovely list, Courtney – yay for the Denise Hunter love as well as ‘How a Star Falls.’ I cannot wait for that one. Whenever it arrives. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks, Rissi! Yes, Amber’s will be fabulous, no matter when we eager readers get ahold of it. Denise is just fabulous, isn’t she? ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I cannot WAIT until How a Star Falls! And I’ll second what Rissi said about Denise Hunter, yay! Barefoot Summer is an absolutely favorite, and I’m excited for The Wishing Season. As well as A Lady at Willowgrove Hall! I just read book #2 of the series and am now looking forward to #3. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Yay for new books we’ll both love! Yes, put me down for anything by Sarah Ladd. She writes Regency so wonderfully. I can’t wait to “meet” her new characters in this book!

  3. On my Fall TBR list, I split up into three different genre months, so I’ll give it a go with Magic Month (October with Artemis Fowl #1 by Eoin Colfer, The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, and The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien), Literary Fiction Month (November with The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini and Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld) and Dystopia Month (December with The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins). I hope my winter TBR list is going to be a fantasy. Thanks for your Fall TBR list!

    • Hi Natalie, I’m so glad you shared your fall TBR!!! I hope you enjoy The Hunger Games series, I certainly did. That’s still my favorite dystopian that I’ve read so far. Happy reading!!!

  4. Hey, Court, thanks for including me on your fall list! I hope you like Meg as much as I do. She’s the sweetest heroine I’ve ever written, and Bram’s the sweetest hero (after Parker Riley from AHU!). I just discovered Denise Hunter (I know, I’m bad, aren’t I, but I usually stick to historicals), and I LOVE her!! A lot of your TBRS are mine too, so great minds … ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Hugs,
    Julie

    • Julie, I’ve been waiting for Meg and Bram’s story since Love at any Cost!!! I love the entire McClare family, so I’m anxious to revisit those characters again, too. And Parker from AHU was so sweet… maybe he needs his own story? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yay, I’m so glad you’re enjoying Denise Hunter! I’ve only read 1 of her books so far, but I hope that changes with this TBR list. I read mostly historicals, too, but I’ve discovered some FAB contemporary writers this past year.

Here’s hoping you enjoy your fall TBR list, too! Thanks so much for taking the time to visit!
      Blessings,
      Courtney

  5. Thank you so much for adding How a Star Falls to your list! I’m flattered! ๐Ÿ™‚ (*Waving to Rissi and Kara, too! *Group hug*) And thank you for sharing the link to the cover reveal!

Barefoot Summer and Made to Last = wonderful. Great reads! And I, too, am looking forward to reading Burning Sky and The Bound Heart!
