Top Ten Books I’ve Read This Year

I have a feeling this should be called the top ones I’ve read SO FAR this year, because there are some awesome books set to release soon. Also, there are a few others I really want to include, but I can’t, because they are INSPY nominations I’m judging. Alas, I can’t discuss them until the winners are announced. But, these books I’ve included are each wonderful in their own right. It’s just so hard to pick 10!

    • Irene, thanks for visiting!
It is funny that you liked the movie but not the book 🙂 They were different, but I did love both. I can see, though, how some people wouldn’t like it at all.

  1. Some great books. I am looking forward to the Sentinels of Andersonville. Andersonville is only a 45 minute drive from my home, so when Tracy Groot is visiting there in Jan. 2015, she is going to stop by and talk to my 2 book clubs! Really excited. I loved Burning Sky (it is on my list), so I need to put Tamsen Littlejohn on my TBR list.

    • You’ve mentioned my top two favorites!!! Sentinels and Tamsen are both so good.

Ooh, that will be so fun! Enjoy the book – maybe you’ll learn something new about your local history 🙂

You MUST read The Pursuit of Tamsen Litlejohn. It’s so rich and unique – really a beautiful story. I haven’t read Burning Sky yet, but I really want to.

      Thanks for the input, Beckie!

  2. There are SO many favorites (so far) this year. Like you, I enjoyed It Had to Be You (very much) and am about to dive into the next book in the series. And of course, the year still has months yet to go! Great first half. 🙂

    • Yes, there are some great books this year. I can’t wait to read Susan’s next one! I’m expecting it soon. There are also some I’m looking forward to later this summer and fall. Tomorrow’s TTT will be fun, since it includes some of them!
